The French film AttentionBandits, directed by Claude Lelouch, was released in France in 1987. The following year it was released in the US and marketed under the shortened title Bandits.
This poster for Bandits says that the film is “a tender love story of betrayal, murder and revenge” (a curiously worded description in and of itself) and shows three dark figures – two men and one woman. Love, betrayal, murder, revenge ---- what more could one ask for in a movie? No doubt this poster helped make this film a must-see for many.
Claude Lelouch (b. 1937) is a French film writer and director perhaps best known for the 1966 film A Man and a Woman which he wrote and directed.
This poster makes an interesting addition to a collection of film posters.
