THE THIRD KEY BRITISH MYSTERY MOVIE POSTER

The British movie The Long Arm was released in the US in 1957 as The Third Key. Described as "a Scotland Yard crime thriller," the plot revolves around the investigation of a mysterious series of safe-cracking robberies. British actor Jack Hawkins stars as the detective.

This poster, printed in the US, gives the movie-going public a little taste of the intrigue and mystery that they can expect.  A mystery man with a gloved hand raised is shown in a red coat and also as a shadow, but his face is not seen.  Who is he and is he going to rob the safe? You'll have to see the movie to find out!

This poster states that it is licensed for display in connection with the exhibition of the picture at the theater only.  It also bears a stamp from the Province of Quebec approving the movie.
