This poster is an advertisement for a 1965 Soviet film (Zhili-byli starik so starukhoy) which was released under the English title, ThereLived An Old Man and An Old Woman. It is also known by the English title There Was An Old Couple.
Directed by Grigory Choukhrai, it tells the story of an old couple who leave their home in The Ukraine and move to Siberia where their daughter and her husband live. The poster shows the old man standing under a ribbon of ice looking into the distance. He has a concerned expression on his face, and his arm is outstretched as he beckons to someone.
