Au Papillon is the title of the artwork that became this exhibition poster for the 1953 show of Georges Braque’s work titled “Braque Graveur” at Galerie Berrgruen et Cie in Paris. The most clearly recognizable image in this colorful and lively abstract design is that of a butterfly (“Au Papillon”) resting on the black figure.
