APPEL GALERIE ARIEL POSTER

This work by Dutch artist Karel Appel was chosen as the exhibition poster for a show at the Galerie Ariel in Paris in 1971 which featured his work.

Karel Appel (1921-2006) was born in Amsterdam.  As a Dutch painter and sculptor, he was strongly influenced by the works of Picasso and Matisse, as the art chosen for this exhibition poster suggests.  His paintings and sculpture pieces have been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the world.

This joyful piece will add color to every room.
