V INVEST WWI LIBERTY LOAN POSTER

This bright red World War l lithograph with its large blue "V" for victory was likely used to promote the Victory Liberty Loan campaign near the end of the war.

At the bottom of this vintage poster it states it was printed by The Strobridge Litho Co Cincinnati.

War bonds and loans were used to finance the WWl war effort, and the posters made to sell these government obligations offer a fascinating look back at this era. They make a wonderful addition to poster collections, especially those with a USA theme.
