ALLEZ AU MAROC PAR CHEMINS DE FERS D'ORLEANS POSTER

This fabulous French lithograph from the early 1920s advertises travel routes to destinations in Morocco (Maroc) from Europe by train, ship, automobile and plane. The travel route to each destination -- Tanger, Rabat, Casablanca, Fez and Marrakech -- is marked, and each destination is pictured in a cameo scene.

French artist Charles Hallo designed this captivating vintage travel poster, and the signature he used on his artworks (“Alo”) appears in the plate at the bottom of the lithograph.

This vintage travel poster is a fascinating reminder of how much (or maybe how little) the tourism industry has changed in almost 100 years.
