WEST FRASER SIGNED GIBBES MUSEUM POSTER

Artist West Fraser’s work titled “Cherry Point Seafood on Bohicket Creek” is featured on this lovely poster promoting the artist’s show at The Gibbes Art Gallery in Charleston in 1987. The quiet scene shows shrimp boats docked at dusk, with seagulls circling and with the multi-hued pink colors of a twilight sky. Fraser has signed the poster on the lower right side, just beneath the image.

James West Fraser (known as West Fraser) was born in 1965 in Savannah and is best known for his painted scenes of cities, coasts and landscapes.  This artwork is an excellent representation of his work.  

This lovely poster depicting an idyllic scene of boats docked at sunset is the perfect poster for an office or living space.  Its quiet elegance adds a nice dimension wherever it is placed.
