In this 1971 lithograph by Trova, a man, ressembling shows
Trova (1927-2009) was an American painter and sculp best known for his paintings, prints and sculptures that were part of his Falling Man series.
Trova's figures in The Falling Man series are androgynous and incomplete, most notably lacking arms (as in this artwork). One of Trova's first jobs after high school was to create store displays using mannequins, an experience that clearly helped define his life's work.
