These rare vintage advertising signs from Germany circa 1920s - 1930s are by different graphic designers and advertise different products/events. They are displayed together as a collection in a beautiful birch frame.
On the left is a sign created by graphic design firm W. Pfannkuch & Co in Magdeburg (Saxony), Germany, advertising an exhibition of Gas, Water and Electricity.
In the middle is a sign by graphic designer von Gustav Schaffer of Chemnist (Saxony), Germany, advertising margarine. It is dated 1926.
On the right is a sign by graphic designer Fritz Lewy, Dusseldorf, Germany, advertising packages for flour, coffee, tea, tobacco and soap.
Each one is an interesting study of German graphic design between the two World Wars.
