This etching is titled Specimen of Glass, in the Nave. It depicts the intricate design of a portion of a stained glass window in the cathedral in York, England, commonly called "York Minster." Below the title of this etching it states: "York, Published by John Browne, July 1st, 1844." In the lower left it states, "Drawn by John Browne." In the lower right it states, "Etched by J. Browne & Son."
