BARNABE ARMAGNAC POSTER

This French lithograph from the 1947 shows a suited businessman raising a glass of Armagnac Barnabe and admiring it with a look of anticipated enjoyment. The caption reads Et pour terminer ... which translates as, "And, to finish..." and suggests that this brandy from the Armagnac region of France is the perfect end to a busy, successful day at work.  The bottom caption on the poster, Le prefere des gourmets, clearly identifies the targeted audience of the poster.
